General Community Information

Downtown Golden is less than a 10‑minute drive away. Convenient highway access via I-70 allows efficient travel to downtown Denver, Boulder, and mountain destinations.

Aurum offers several convenient rent payment options to fit your needs. Residents may submit payments through RentCafe, our secure online portal, using a checking account, debit card, or credit card. Flex payment options are also available, allowing rent to be split into two equal payments. Payments by check are accepted at the leasing office.

The application fee is $19.45 per applicant, with a $350 administrative fee per household. Applications are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Approval is based on a review of credit history, background screening, and income verification when required, and these factors may influence the final security deposit amount.

Prior to move‑in, residents are required to secure renters’ insurance. Aurum partners with Resident Shield, making setup simple and seamless. Move‑in payments may be submitted through the resident portal up to 72 hours before the scheduled move‑in date; for move‑ins occurring within 72 hours, payment must be made via cashier’s check or money order. Once these steps are completed, the final requirement is signing your lease.

Residents are responsible for water, sewer, gas, and electricity, all of which are billed based on usage. Internet service and trash services are also resident‑paid.

Aurum offers several parking options, including general parking, reserved parking spaces, and reserved carports. Guests may purchase daily parking passes for the general lot. Outside of business hours, designated future resident parking spaces are also available for guest use.

Most unfurnished floor plans include an in‑unit washer and dryer. Furnished units do not include these appliances; however, conveniently located laundry facilities are available on the second, third, and fourth floors. Machines accept debit and credit cards—no coins required.
